Many people visit Oqaatsut to experience the everyday life of living in a remote settlement, where hunting and fishing is the main occupation. There is also a famous hiking trail between Ilulissat and Oqaatsut known as “The Old Mail Route”.

If you're into hiking, this is a must-do! The trail is marked with orange dots🟠 and is around 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) and can be done in 6-7 hours either way. With our shuttle, you can start yout hike back from Oqaatsut in the morning.
